3. Nature of the Platform

Islania Holistics is a platform connecting wellness and holistic therapy practitioners (hereinafter the "Practitioners") with users wishing to book sessions or access training content (hereinafter the "Users" or "Patients").

The Platform operates several complementary services:

  • Booking of individual or group sessions, in person or online, with practitioners auditioned and listed on the Platform.
  • Live session delivery through a proprietary dual-audio-stream system (preserving the quality of healing music) and multilingual live subtitling.
  • E-learning: subtitled video courses, podcast-style audio playback, quizzes, discussion lounges reserved for enrolled users, and automatic generation of a nominative certificate of completion upon successful completion of all modules.
  • Community spaces (lounges/forums) associated with each course or care category, allowing exchanges between users and with the relevant author or practitioner.
  • Virtual wallet and Prana loyalty programme, enabling the accumulation of credits usable on the Platform.

Islania Holistics acts as a technical intermediary. The Platform is not a healthcare provider, does not provide medical advice and does not intervene in the care relationship between the Practitioner and the User. See in this regard the Health Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability.

4. Intellectual Property

All the elements making up the Site (the "Islania Holistics" trademark, logo, texts, graphics, interface, code, database, tree structure) are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of the publisher or its partners.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication or adaptation, in whole or in part, of these elements, by any means whatsoever, without prior written authorisation, is prohibited and constitutes an infringement punishable under Book XI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.

The content posted online by the Practitioners (descriptions, training courses, materials) remains their property; the Practitioners nevertheless grant the Platform a licence to use it for the purposes of operating the service (see Practitioner Agreement).

5. Liability

The publisher endeavours to ensure the accuracy and updating of the information published on the Site, without being able to guarantee its completeness. The publisher cannot be held liable for the content published by the Practitioners, nor for the content of third-party sites accessible via hyperlinks.

6. Consumer Mediation

In accordance with the Code of Economic Law, the consumer User may make free use of the Consumer Mediation Service (Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 boîte 1, 1000 Bruxelles — https://mediationconsommateur.be) or of the European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

7. Applicable Law

This legal notice is governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of the district of the publisher's registered office, subject to the mandatory rules protecting consumers.
