Positioning

Islania Holistics is not a directory. It is an integrated ecosystem that combines an appointment marketplace, a certifying e-learning platform, a per-course community forum, a loyalty gamification layer, and a real-time broadcast media engine — all designed to keep both practitioners and clients on-platform through aligned economic incentives rather than platform lock-in.

Behavioral engineering (retention by design)

Practitioner-side: in-chat scheduling, automated invoicing, monthly payouts, mandatory no-show financial guarantee for the client (funded by cancellation-tier penalties on the practitioner side).
Client-side: a gamified Prana token accrues at roughly a 5% cashback rate on every transaction and liquidates into 40 € vouchers at 1,000 Prana — off-platform transactions become financially suboptimal for the user.

Native / in-house technology

Everything below is coded in-house, not proxied to a SaaS. External providers are used as infrastructure primitives (see stack).

Real-time communication engine

Bidirectional mesh video calls (WebRTC). Custom React hook useVocalCall orchestrates peer connections, audio/video track management, hand-raise, mic/cam toggles, and a shared microphone stream reused for Deepgram live transcription (avoids a second getUserMedia that would conflict with the SFU capture on Firefox).
Broadcast studio with iOS anti-ducking. During the healing phase, a Cloudflare Realtime SFU streams a mixed audio track (voice + background music) from the practitioner to all participants. Custom stream mixer and session orchestrator preserve high-quality background music on iOS by avoiding any parallel microphone capture during broadcast phases.
Live translated subtitles. Deepgram Nova-3 WebSocket streaming per participant → Firestore fan-out → Cerebrasgpt-oss-120b for on-the-fly translation → subtitle overlay rendered per viewer's language.
Screen sharing. NativegetDisplayMedia with track republishing on the SFU during exchange and outro phases (never during broadcast).

AI-driven LMS pipeline

Structured PDF ingestion. Practitioner uploads a PDF → structured HTML extraction → H1/H2 chapter splitting → per-chapter image extraction with page-full background filtering.
Cross-lingual audio-text pipeline. Groq-hosted Llama-3.1-8B translates each chapter's HTML into two additional languages preserving markup. Kokoro TTS on Modal Labs serverless GPU compiles high-fidelity audio narration per language.
Assessment engine. Auto-generates a 30-question pool per chapter. Each attempt draws 10 random questions; a 7/10 pass rate unlocks the next chapter. Granular teacher-override interface.
Certification. On formation completion, a Cloud Functions-signed PDF certificate is generated on the fly. Not a diploma — clearly labeled as an attendance certificate.
Chat AI per formation. RAG on chapter chunks with Cohere embed-multilingual-v3.0 and Cerebrasgpt-oss-120b, anchored to the formation's material.

Multi-tenant CMS & conditional access

Wildcard subdomain routing. {handle}.islaniaholistics.com is resolved by Next.js middleware into the practitioner's public page. One Firebase App Hosting build serves all subdomains via handle lookup.
Token-gated forums. Each formation provisions a scoped micro-forum. Access is gated by proof-of-purchase document. The practitioner is auto-assigned as moderator. Forum votes credit Pranas to the contributor (capped daily to prevent farming).
Secure media delivery. Chapter videos are hosted on Cloudflare Stream with signed playback tokens generated per view by a Cloud Function.

In-chat contextual transaction engine

Conversational scheduling UI. Practitioner proposes an appointment inline in the messaging thread (date, time, duration, format, workplace, price). Client accepts in the same chat → automatic booking, slot lock, Stripe payment request, email confirmation.
Ephemeral document sharing. Files shared via call chat are stored underchatUploads/{sessionId}/ and automatically purged at session end by a Firestore trigger, with a GCS bucket lifecycle rule (delete after 1 day) as a backstop. GDPR-first design.

Gamification & loyalty (Prana)

Ledger-backed credits. Every credit source writes an immutable document with amount, source, and earnedAt. A daily scheduled function expires credits older than 12 rolling months, capped at wallet balance.
Referral network. 125 Prana bonus to both parties on the referred user's first purchase OR first practitioner sale. Anti-self-referral guard, idempotent.

AI help bot (askHelp)

Two-stage retrieval on curated FAQ articles + platform entities: keyword pre-filter → Cohere cosine on top candidates → Cerebras gpt-oss-120b response.
Opportunistic response cache with semantic hit at cosine ≥ 0.92 returning cached answers with zero LLM tokens spent.
Emotional-safety category classifier (Llama 3.1 8B) with a regex safety-net for distress/emergency/anger patterns. Distress categories are never cached; the bot always issues a fresh personalized response with regional emergency numbers.
